Travelling in Myanmar and documenting the country is an adventurous assignment. I feel privileged to get an insight into this unique country, meet many extraordinary people and follow the changes taking place at close view, often literally. In 2011 alone, I went to Myanmar three times, spending two months there altogether (this is the reason why this blog and website have been neglected a bit over the last year…) I just returned from my first trip to Myanmar in 2012, yet another adventure that led me to the far South, the Mergui Archipelago, a motley group of 850 islands.
